"When I joined my father’s law firm 45 years ago, he impressed on me that  lawyering is about much more than providing legal services to the community.  If you have a successful law practice and are making a decent living, it is all because of your friends and clients in York County, and this gives rise to a corresponding duty to give back to the community.”         -- William B. Anstine Jr.

"Treatment courts help people change their lives.  Graduates regain the trust of their families, become productive members of the community, and become employees or employers who are successful.   It’s important to help others when our lives have been so blessed.”   -- Jack K. Sanstead, M.D.

"My siblings and I wanted to establish a Named Fund to honor our father’s long legal career, and to give back to the York County community where our family continues to practice law.”      -- Andrea Eveler Stanley

"We’ve enjoyed the practice of law and it has done well by us.  We feel obliged to give back, not with a hand out, but with a hand up.  Because sometimes, even with hard work and a good plan, a person needs help with that first step up.”                      -- J. Robert and R. Elliot Katherman

"I have been humbled by my career success and the opportunities presented to me, so I am grateful to be able to give back, in time and treasure, while passionately advocating for those in need.  My wife and I believe in ‘giving while we are living’ and hope to influence others of means, by example, to do the same.”       -- Robert W. Pullo
