Need information about York County Courts?

Visit the Court Self-Help Center

The York County Court Self-Help Center is a resource for individuals who intend to represent themselves in civil litigation. The Center provides assistance and information on legal procedure and issues.  No one in the Court Self-Help Center is allowed to give legal advice.

The Self-Help Center is on the fourth floor of the York County Judicial Center, 45 North George Street in York City. Note: Cell phones are not permitted in the Judicial Center.

The York County Self-Help Center was established and is operated and funded by the Administrative Office of York County Courts (AOYCC). The York County Bar Foundation and State Justice Institute provided $10,000 matching grant funds for the establishment of the Self-Help Center.

Representing yourself in Court is difficult and a challenging process. It is strongly suggested that you consult an attorney. Contact the YCBA Attorney Connection hotline at (717) 854-8755 to schedule an initial consultation with an attorney.
