The York County Bar Association
Membership
The York County Bar Association (YCBA) is a non-profit professional membership association of attorneys and judges with nearly 500 members. Membership in the YCBA is open to any person admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania. Members must maintain a permanent residence in York County or maintain an office within York County for the practice of law. Individuals who neither reside in York County nor maintain an office in York County for the practice of law may be eligible to become an Associate Member of the Association. Membership dues are based on the number of years a member has been in practice. YCBA does have a policy for release to the general public of its
Membership List. The Association maintains a list of
deceased members.
Membership Benefits
Interested applicants should complete the membership application and return it to the Association. We also encourage you to sign up for the Pro Bono Program administered by The York County Bar Foundation. Upon receipt of your application, we will include you in the mailing list to receive the materials for a day- long orientation process where you will receive a half day of instruction, followed by a luncheon meeting of the membership, a formal introduction to the Bench, and a reception in your honor.
