Mission of Noll Scholarship Committee
To effectuate the intent of Richard P. Noll, whose Last Will and Testament directed that scholarship awards be made to “…a deserving, needy law student from the greater York area.” and who created the Noll Scholarship.
Committee Responsibility
Annually, the Committee notifies Pennsylvania law schools of the scholarship program, reviews applications each summer and chooses one or two law students to receive a scholarship award. The Committee Procedure and Schedule can be found in this web site.

2008 YEAR END REPORT

I. Project Status Report:
A scholarship was awarded in the 2008-2009 school year to Christine MacDonald, a 2L at American University, in the amount of $1,500.00.
II. Recommendations for the Committee for 2009:
1. The Committee would like to be able to distribute larger scholarships which are more meaningful to the recipients. The Committee would like to continue to look into its current investment portfolio and find ways to maximize this income.
2. The Committee has been meeting jointly with the Diversity Pipeline Committee to explore ways we can work together. The Committee would like to continue to discuss partnering opportunities with the Diversity Pipeline Committee.
