York County Bar Foundation
Legacy Society
Established in 2005 by resolution of the Board of Directors of the York County Bar Foundation, The Legacy Society was created to encourage future gifts.
Membership is established by providing
written certification to the Executive Director of the Bar Foundation that an individual has provided for the York County Bar Foundation in his or her Last Will and Testament. This can be done through the following methods:
- A specific gift of money or other property
- A gift of a certain percentage of your estate
- A residuary gift of the remaining balance of your estate
-
Tax-advantaged vehicles such as charitable trusts and gift annuities can provide life income for donors or others and, later, a gift to the endowment fund. For additional information, please
contact us.
Names of Award winners are inscribed onto a plaque prominently displayed in the Bar Center and are also honored at the York Bar Association Annual Dinner.
Many of your fellows have already become
members.
