The Bar Leader Institute (BLI) is run by the American Bar Association and is a leadership training program for President Elects from bars across the country. It usually takes place the first or second weekend of March in Chicago and should be mandatory for the YCBA President Elect and the Executive Director. This is really not an event for spouses and all sessions of the program are important and include social events. The program provides the President Elect with tools to lead as well as perspective on this leadership role.
