High School Law Mentoring

The Law Mentoring Program is a popular attorney-led program created by Attorney Walter Tilley with the York County Alliance for Learning (YCAL) to introduce high-school students from around the county to the practice of law over the course of ten sessions held at the York County Bar Center. In 2019, Attorney Tilley, along with Attorneys Christopher L. Harris, Victoria L. Woods, Taylor M. Baublitz and Joseph D. Baublitz, introduced the legal system and the ups and downs of practicing law.

The program gained in popularity from the 2018-19 school year, increasing from 15 participants to 24. The students attended classes at the Bar Center, as well as a courtroom experience with Judges Strong and Prendergast.
