This course will cover the basics of litigation for those who don’t practice in the area. Prepare yourself for basic litigation questions so that you know when your client needs help from a litigator and what you can do to get them on the right path.

Join us to learn about preparing for litigation including the duty to preserve evidence, types of litigation, alternatives to litigation, and common pitfalls for non-litigators who dabble in the area. Additional topics include time for deadlines for your client to file a claim or lawsuit, and deadlines to respond to a lawsuit. Note: litigation is MUCH more than just personal injury cases. The PACLE Board approved this program for 1-hour substantive credit. To receive credit, all attendees must be signed on by Noon.
