Member Benefits

Who are we?

The York County Bar Association (YCBA) is a non-profit professional membership association of more than 500 attorneys and judges.

Who can join?

Membership in the YCBA is open to any person admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania. Members must maintain a permanent residence in York County or maintain an office within York County for the practice of law. Individuals who neither reside in York County nor maintain an office in York County for the practice of law may be eligible to become an Associate Member of the Association.

How much does it cost?

Membership dues range from $60-$160 and are based on the number of years a member has been in practice as well as private or government/non-profit employment. Optional Section membership dues are offered for a nominal fee.

Membership Benefits include:
  • New member luncheon and orientation program
  • Formal introduction to the Bench followed by a special reception in your honor -- families welcome at both events
  • Opportunities to network and socialize with other attorneys in specific areas of practice or interest. The Bar Association has over forty committees and several Sections to join - a great opportunity to meet with other attorneys and discuss hot topics in your practice.
