The York County Bar Association is pleased to offer Remote Online Notarization (RON) at no cost to YCBA members as a member benefit.

RON services will be made available to non-members if requested. However, administrative fees will be charged to all non-member attorneys who wish to utilize the benefit of remote online notary services.

Pennsylvania notary fees are set by the Department of State by regulation (4 Pa. Code §161.1) as follows:

• Executing an affidavit (no matter how many signatures): $5
• Taking an acknowledgment: $5; for each additional name: $2
• Administering an oath, per person: $5 
• Taking verification on oath or affirmation (no matter how many signatures): $5
• Witnessing or attesting a signature (per signature): $5
• Certifying or attesting a copy or deposition, per certified copy: $5
• Noting a protest, per page: $3

In addition, the York County Bar Association administrative fees charged as follows:

• Each document to be notarized: $15 per document
• If witnesses are required, each witness will be an additional $5 due to ID verification costs.
  

The York County Bar Association continues to offer traditional notarization services at no cost to YCBA members as a member benefit.
