Ever been asked by a client, friend, or family member about the consequences of or how to deal with a DUI charge but criminal law is not your area of expertise? Then this CLE is for you. While most driving under the influence matters will require a referral to a highly qualified and knowledgeable criminal defense attorney, understanding the basics is essential to any practice area as the consequences of a DUI charge and/or conviction can be far reaching and impact many areas of a person’s life including but not limited to custody, employment, firearm possession and ownership, etc. The goal of this CLE is to provide you with the essentials in reference to driving under the influence charges that include potential consequences, the ability to apply and participate in diversionary programs like ARD and Treatment Courts, and some recent changes in the law that have had significant impact on DUI’s.

The PACLE Board approved this program for 1-hour substantive credit. To receive credit, all attendees must be signed on by Noon. Late arrivals will receive no credit.
