Professors Randy Lee and Bob Davis will present a training on the Rules of Professional Responsibility which is tailored for nonlawyer support staff. YCBA invites all members to send their support staff to this virtual training to ensure compliance with the Ethics Rules without charge. Attorneys may also attend and obtain CLE credit for a charge

Rule 5.3 requires lawyers with supervisory authority over a nonlawyer to make reasonable efforts to ensure that the nonlawyers conduct comports with the Ethics Rules. Lawyers with managerial authority within a law firm must ensure that the firm has measures in effect which give reasonable assurance that nonlawyers working on firm matters comply with the Ethics Rules.  

The PACLE Board approved this program for 1 hour substantive credit. To receive credit, all attendees must be in their seat by 12:00pm. Late arrivals will receive no credit.

  • $40.00 - Credit - Member YCBA
  • $30.00 - No Credit - Member YCBA
  • $60.00 - Credit - Non-member of YCBA, Member of another Bar
  • $50.00 - No Credit - Non-member of YCBA, Member of another Bar
  • $35.00 - Credit - Member/5 years or less practice
