We live in an age where technology seems to dominate the world of lawyers’ ethics. As the 21st century spins past us at a seemingly increasingly rapid rate and lawyers find themselves having to navigate e-discovery, confidentiality in the Cloud, distance depositions, tower-triangulated data, and the necessity of encrypted emails, one may well wonder if there is still time to worry about wisdom in such an information age.

We live in an age where technology seems to dominate the world of lawyers’ ethics. As the 21st
century spins past us at a seemingly increasingly rapid rate and lawyers find themselves having to
navigate e-discovery, confidentiality in the Cloud, distance depositions, tower-triangulated data, and
the necessity of encrypted emails, one may well wonder if there is still time to worry about wisdom in
such an information age. Please join Professor Randy Lee as he journeys from Army prisons to the shores of Nantucket and from public defenders’ offices to the front seat of James Dean’s car to see if he can still find a place for wisdom in a lawyer’s life.
