TIME: LUNCH 11:30AM - PROGRAM 12:00PM to 1:00PM

This program will provide an overview of past efforts to address and improve the Chesapeake Bay and local water quality and new regulatory efforts that have been announced. The PA Department of Environmental Protection is beginning to implement its “rebooted” Chesapeake Bay enforcement strategy. Among other things, this will mean increased inspections of farms and municipal storm water systems for compliance assurance. The program will review how this new enforcement strategy will be implemented, what it means for municipalities and farmers and what York County is doing to improve local water quality.
The PACLE Board approved this program for 1 hour substantive credit. To receive credit, all attendees must be registered and in their seats by 12:00 p.m. Late arrivals will receive no credit.
